My experiments with AI stuffses

Here's another addition to my series of posts where I document my random experiments with generative AI.

The Future of AI-Generated Content: Smart Articles from Random Data

Intrigued by a recent tweet (or, something stupid X that it's supposed to be called now), I decided to ask Bard a very unrelated question that may not have made much sense.

I asked it to make a list of the 10 cities in the world with the highest conductivity. I also asked it to make it sound smart and to describe the rating system for the list.

This is what Bard came up with:

10 Cities in the World with the Highest Conductivity

Conductivity is a measure of how well a material allows electricity to flow through it. In the context of cities, conductivity can be used to measure how well a city is connected to the internet and other forms of communication.

Here is a list of 10 cities in the world with the highest conductivity, along with the reasons for their high ranking:

1. New York City, USA

Conductivity: 1.57
Reasons:
New York City is a global hub for finance, media, and technology.
It is home to some of the world's largest companies, as well as a vast network of fiber optic cables.
The city has a high concentration of universities and research institutions, which contribute to its high level of connectivity.

2. London, UK

Conductivity: 1.55
Reasons:
London is a major financial center and a hub for international trade.
It is also home to a number of universities and research institutions.
The city has a well-developed telecommunications infrastructure, with high-speed internet access available throughout the city.

3. Tokyo, Japan

Conductivity: 1.54
Reasons:
Tokyo is a major economic and cultural center in Asia.
It is home to a number of large corporations, as well as a number of universities and research institutions.
The city has a high-speed internet infrastructure, with fiber optic cables connecting all parts of the city.

4. Hong Kong, China

Conductivity: 1.53
Reasons:
Hong Kong is a major financial and trading center.
It is also home to a number of universities and research institutions.
The city has a high-speed internet infrastructure, with fiber optic cables connecting all parts of the city.

5. Singapore

Conductivity: 1.52
Reasons:
Singapore is a major financial and trading center in Southeast Asia.
It is also home to a number of universities and research institutions.
The city has a high-speed internet infrastructure, with fiber optic cables connecting all parts of the city.

6. Amsterdam, Netherlands

Conductivity: 1.51
Reasons:
Amsterdam is a major financial and trading center in Europe.
It is also home to a number of universities and research institutions.
The city has a well-developed telecommunications infrastructure, with high-speed internet access available throughout the city.

7. Zurich, Switzerland

Conductivity: 1.50
Reasons:
Zurich is a major financial center in Europe.
It is also home to a number of universities and research institutions.
The city has a well-developed telecommunications infrastructure, with high-speed internet access available throughout the city.

8. Stockholm, Sweden

Conductivity: 1.49
Reasons:
Stockholm is a major financial center in Scandinavia.
It is also home to a number of universities and research institutions.
The city has a well-developed telecommunications infrastructure, with high-speed internet access available throughout the city.

9. Helsinki, Finland

Conductivity: 1.48
Reasons:
Helsinki is a major financial center in Scandinavia.
It is also home to a number of universities and research institutions.
The city has a well-developed telecommunications infrastructure, with high-speed internet access available throughout the city.

10. Oslo, Norway

Conductivity: 1.47
Reasons:
Oslo is a major financial center in Scandinavia.
It is also home to a number of universities and research institutions.
The city has a well-developed telecommunications infrastructure, with high-speed internet access available throughout the city.

These cities are all well-connected to the internet and other forms of communication. They are also home to a number of universities and research institutions, which contribute to their high conductivity.

If you are looking for a city with a high level of connectivity, then any of these cities would be a good choice.

Observations

  1. Generative text models are highly proficient at simulating intelligence.

  2. It was fascinating to observe how the model interpreted the query and then proceeded to work on it.

  3. Although this was an entertaining experiment, it appears that something like this could be easily used to generate misinformation.

  4. It remains to be seen how the technology and regulations surrounding this will develop in order to control the creation of misinformation and prevent it from adding to the already vast amount of misinformation on the internet.
